I have some some chewable bariatric Vitamins as well but I don’t feel like I’m taking in enough nutrients to take vitamins and I’m afraid they will make me nauseous?.
I have these sneeze attacks often and because I’m still sore, it drives me nuts! ??‍♀️?

My saying is, the choice was easy but the process is hard. We are food addicts that are experiencing some real life changes within our bodies and all we can do is embrace it and prepare for greatness. ☺️

I couldn’t agree more. When did you have your surgery?

I have cravings but I’m not hungry either. I think they call this head hunger. I’ve been getting my Water intake but the Protein Shakes are too heavy for me right now. I’m starting protein liquid supplements which contain nearly 20g of protein per serving until I’m ready to take on a full shake because at this time, they fill me up, cause pain and make me Ill. Hey, no one ever said this process would be easy, right? ☺️??‍♀️

I am rite with you in that, realizing how addictive food is to me ! I have no hunger but think I need to eat! One day at a time!! I did this to be successfully , no turning back!

I had my surgery December 6th….I’m REALLY struggling. Tomorrow will practically be week 4 of clear liquids and I can’t tolerate them anymore. My stomach will reject them and I am scared to vomit. Any tips? Or is anyone else dealing with this as well. My doctor simply says you need to drink …which is no help.

Why are you on clear liquids so long?

Are you sure it’s still just clear and not full liquids. I know you can have a few weeks of clear ahead of surgery but usually a week after surgery you move to Full liquids

@danita75 I was on clear liquids 2 weeks post op and now as well. I’m not sure why my doctor is asking me to do this but I brought it up and he just said keep at it ? the 27th of December I can switch to full liquids and boy am I dying for a thick soup. I’m miserable, if anyone was to ask me RIGHT now if I recommend it I would definitely say no. Hopefully my mind changes :(

I’ve asked the office for clarification a few times, but clear liquids is all I’m “allowed”. I’m sure he knows best but I’ve seen people on week 2 already on soft foods :(

Ugh I hope the doctor has a reason for the torture. You’re probably losing faster than most. I just hope you’re feeling alright with what you can consume.
