Not gona put any food in my mouth until i talk with my doctor but id love to know how others here dealt with it - the hunger feeling is the same before surgery although i havent been drinking much Soup due to not being able to make it myself and no one sells it here like a broth-

Buy some chicken and/or beef bullion cubes or powders and dissolve them in boiling Water for a broth. I found that the saltiness of the broth satisfied my hunger. I tried to eat something at about 5 days and it hurt my chest so I stopped and waited. It was enough of a scare to get eating out of my mind. I just stuck to the shakes and Bone Broth. YOu can also buy bone broth on Amazon and have it delivered if you need it.

I was the same way - I was like a shark looking for food. Finally my sister made me the most amazing seafood broth which saved me. Hang in there but it sucks - I know. I felt like a crazy person.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
