WHATS THE BEST PROTEIN POWDER

Recommended Posts

I would say do not over-invest! I bought every Protein Powder known to man and recommended on here. You should try and get samples to figure out what you like...not just buy them all willy-nilly! (Like me!). My favorite, though, is GENEPRO which is pretty much flavorless and can be mised with almost anything (refried Beans, SF Jello, any recipe) to boost Protein. I also use Premier Protein or Fairlife vanilla pre-mixed in my coffee each morning.

Good luck!!

you're bound to get 100 different answers here because people's tastes are so different. I'd buy a few sample packs and see what you like - better that than spending $30 or more on a big tub of something that you end up hating.

my favorites were Syntrax and Unjury products. I drink Fit Frappe and Quest sometimes now, but those two aren't the best choices for new pre-ops because they're not made from whey Protein isolate (Syntrax and Unjury ARE made from whey protein isolate - as are a few other brands). The other two I mentioned - and several others out there - are protein blends or protein concentrates (and sometimes something else). Those are fine once you're getting most/all of your protein requirements met through food, but early out, whey protein isolate is usually your best option since we absorb that form of protein pretty easily.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
