So close schedule for 9th and just tested positive for covid. Crazy because I feel fine. Oh well maybe third time will be the charm.

Hey! Have you heard anything since your paperwork was submitted?

I have heard nada! so i'm still sitting tight. :(

I had my surgery Feb 1st.

I have to be honest and say I'm having a hard time and at this point I wish I did not do the surgery. I may change my mind as I go along but right now I'm starving, I'm uncomfortable, in pain and just want to sleep cause I'm so weak.

Sorry, I wish I had more positive news to share.

I hear you. Has your bariatric team been able to provide any solutions?

Mine was the 3rd and the first 4 days were HELL, but Day 5 I seemed to turn a corner. I hope you're able to get some relief soon.

I totally understand. Yesterday was day 5 and I felt good. I woke up this morning feeling terrible. I am so weak today. I am honestly thinking about going to the doc. All I keep thinking is this too shall pass. ?

I was also done Feb 1st. I felt regret days 1 - 2 but I am feeling much better now. Does your team have you drinking any sugar? I am hypoglycemic and some days I wake up feeling awful because my sugar is so low. My team said for the first 2 week while I am on clear liquids only I can have full sugar gatorade or powerade, cranberry juice or apple juice. I had to do half drink and half juice. the days I feel really bad I will have 8 oz cranberry juice with 8 oz water. I also got Protien20 water to get some protein in while on clear liquids. I hope you start feeling better soon. It will all be worth it in the end.

7 Day countdown to February 17th!!... Double Surgery?... Gastric Sleeve & Nephrectomy on the same day! No matter how scared & anxious I get. I’ll remain optimistic & continue pushing forward for my successful journey. I endured spinal infusion in 2019 so I’m PRAYING this healing will be a breeeeeeze **gulp**

Surgery was on the 8th. At home now. No complications. It only hurts a little at the incion sites. Im managing with meds. No having any problems swallowing or holing food except that mess they make you swallow to see if have any leaking. I threw that mess up quick! Minimal gas pains on day one but once I started walking, that subsided for the most part. The only complaibt I have is that everything tastes sweet including water. Anybody else have that issue?
