Congrats on your surgery date and good on your WLS journey.

February 19th
Anyone have some words of encouragement? I’m scheduled the 19th of February. I had the lapband in for almost 10 years and it was removed in October 2019. Anyone that’s had it done of what to expect more than what the doctors tell you? I’m so scared. I’m so scared I’ll fail. Or I’m making the wrong choice but I know I need to do this. I did really well with the lapband so the doctors are confident I’ll be fine with the sleeve. The fact that it’s permanent scares me.

Feb 3rd too. I still don't know if its gonna happen because here in Ma covid is hitting hard.

Hi, I’m also from MA. I have an appointment with my surgeon on the 26 to schedule the surgery date. I was told today that I may have to wait until March due to the Covid restrictions on elective surgeries here in MA. I’m little worried about the insurance (Tuft unify) because I’m just on the 40 BMI although I do have Diabetes. Good luck to everyone!

Hi! Feb 4 for me. I have a pre-op appts with the surgeon and anesthesiologist 1/22. So excited! My surgery was originally scheduled for Dec 17, but cancelled due to covid.
