How much are you eating a year out?

Recommended Posts

Here’s what I ate yesterday. I work nights so times are approximate and wonky as I mostly just snack at work so I don’t keep definite track of times-

7pm- Protein Shake in coffee- 25g Protein

8-9pm- protein beef bouillon Soup packet- 15g protein

10pm-1am- 1 serving bugles, 1.5oz beef Jerky, single serve packet freeze dried apples, and cottage cheese- 27g protein

2am-3am- protein cream of chicken soup packet and Starbucks doubleshot coffee- 22g protein

4am-5am- protein shake, 1/2 chobani blueberry yogurt- 36g protein

630-7am- 1/2 special k meal bar- 6g protein

8am- 3 bites of a bacon cheeseburger that I had already eaten from 3 other times. Maybe 5-10g protein

Came out to about 140g protein and 1450 calories. My protein requirements are insanely high because I had a bowel resection in December ao I don’t absorb protein as well as I did before and I’m now trying to maintain at 150-155.

So far today I’ve been up for about an hour and eaten the other half of that special k bar from yesterday.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
