I had the same issue at first. I started with capsules and chewables, both of which made me nauseous. I found that Bariatric Pal "soft chews" work for me and I've used them for more than a year without any issues. I use the strawberry/watermelon and actually like the taste.

If oral Vitamins make you sick maybe try the patch vitamins? I'm lucky, I guess as I have no issue with taking my vitamins, but there are those that struggle and the patch vitamins would probably be the best solution

I haven’t had surgery yet but had known issues with Vitamins so to prep my nutritionist wanted me to start doing the vitamins I would need.

I started with the Celebrate and couldn’t do it. Switched to the chewable ProCare 45 and started with 1/4 a chew 4 times a day, then half, then a whole one. They don’t taste great so I ordered the capsule form and so far so good.

Not sure if I’ll still be able to take it after surgery but figure worst case I could go back to breaking the chew up.

I've always taken Centrum (or the generic equivalent from CVS or Walgreens). I started with the chewables and after a few months moved to the regular tablets. I guess you could check with your clinic to see if it's OK for you to move to tablets. I think I was about six months out before I did, but then again, at 10 weeks out I was taking other supplements in tablet form, so maybe ...??

I know at least a couple of people here take good ol Flintstones (with iron). Apparently, they are nutritionally pretty close to bariatric ones. Compare the stats and adjust accordingly? Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
