Hello Everyone,

I am new here! My name is Ashley and I am officially one week away from having VSG Surgery (It has been a looonnngg process). I was originally scheduled in March but the Coronavirus messed things up and it was cancelled. I wanted to have this surgery because I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which is a hormonal imbalance disorder. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for quite some time now and after many different treatments with no success, and after doing research on VSG surgery, I knew that this was what I needed to do. I can not wait to see how this changes my life. :) Is there anyone else out there with PCOS? If so, did surgery help you in any way?

What's your date? I don't have PCOS...but I've heard many women have had success conceiving after WLS...I pray that it is the same for you![emoji3059]

It's MY time!

I'm scheduled for 05/12/2020, and I also have PCOS. Really hoping that we'll have an easier time after the sleeve!

I hope everything has gone/is going well! 💗My sleeve date is 6/22 and i have PCOS as well. Fertility is one of the reasons i decided to go through with this procedure (aside from wanting a generally longer/healthier life). I figured this would be more affordable than IVF and i will get the body I’ve always wanted in the process! 😂

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
