Hello Everyone,

I am new here! My name is Ashley and I am officially one week away from having VSG Surgery (It has been a looonnngg process). I was originally scheduled in March but the Coronavirus messed things up and it was cancelled. I wanted to have this surgery because I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which is a hormonal imbalance disorder. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for quite some time now and after many different treatments with no success, and after doing research on VSG surgery, I knew that this was what I needed to do. I can not wait to see how this changes my life. Is there anyone else out there with PCOS? If so, did surgery help you in any way?

What's your date? I don't have PCOS...but I've heard many women have had success conceiving after WLS...I pray that it is the same for you![emoji3059]

I hope everything has gone/is going well! ?My sleeve date is 6/22 and i have PCOS as well. Fertility is one of the reasons i decided to go through with this procedure (aside from wanting a generally longer/healthier life). I figured this would be more affordable than IVF and i will get the body I’ve always wanted in the process! ?
