Great post. BTW, you look AMAZEBALLS!!! Double BTW, thank you for putting yourself on the line in service to us, especially during these trying times!!!

Thanks Fluffy! My weight loss has been slow, but I feel GREAT!

As much as I'd like to take credit for those healthcare workers putting themselves on the line, I cannot. I am a nurse consultant who works from home. I haven't left my house in over a week! My DH deserves the credit. He's still out there working and braving the chaos in the stores for me.

Awwww! Thank him for me! But you are STILL putting yourself on the line. Cuz you are helping people via phone where they may need help even more than in person. And that need is only gonna grow the longer we are in lock down IMHO. ((hugs)) That's takes a ginormous toll on our own psyche. So big hug and thanks from me! MUAH!

I was telling everyone how good I was not drinking soda because of the carbination, then someone reminded me that red bull had carbination and i was adding it to vodka. I then put my soap box away.

I'll start by saying save me the bible thumping crap about soda!

While I don't know why you posted this, I LOLed at this. 😂

There is a lot on controversy about carbonation among surgeons, like maybe it will stretch out or pouch or not or if it will wreck your anastomosis over the years or not.

I don't know what to make out of this. Evil tongues claim that surgeons say "no carbonation" to scare patients away from regular soda forever and use the scare mongering tactic because us fatties can't for sure ever be trusted to follow the rule "no regular soda".

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
