Water texture issue after sleeve

Recommended Posts

I’m just wondering how many others have had a problem drinking Water (filtered, tap, bottled, etc.) without adding something like bouillon, crystal light, tea, or making into coffee.

I can’t be alone in this, right?

Until I started eating more food I was really struggling with the liquids, and plain Water just wasn't doing it! It's better now, but I still need it full if ice

I loved Water prior to my sleeve. I still crave it, but I'm not consuming water like I need to be. It's not going down right, I'm using drink enhancers, broth, Popsicles and hot tea. I'm still falling short, now this is war!!! I need to hydrate better, because I loved water prior to surgery. I've got to make this work, no choice.

Yes Plain Water makes me nauseous. I only drank gatorade zero then first two weeks until I was able to get some crystal light.

Me, too. I was a major Water lover before my surgery, and now it doesn't appeal to me at all.

I have found for me that Powerade zero goes down like silk. Water, broth and gatorade zero all have a different texture it seems now after surgery. I didn’t understand this post at first until I drank the Powerade zero and it’s so much easier to drink. Hope it’s all working out for y’all.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
