losingjusme goes for plastics

yup, i am about 70-80 pounds from my first huge goal (180/190 lbs) and i have a PS consult tomorrow. i actually completely forgot about it with everything going on until they called to confirm.

i have the appointment for arms and LBL. hopefully he will say "i can do the arms now" and give me a goal to hit for a LBL. dont think i will go with this guy though - no insurance whatsoever... how discouraging... i dont even know if my insurance will help me out, but it would be nice to be able to go to someone who accepts insurance. :)

here we go .. :)

:puke:oh... i know.

nerves are getting the best of me i think.

3 more days of working, then a day of pampering (somewhat) then it's the day..

it's DH & my 10th wedding anniversary today.... so today is special too and Thursday the day 3 years ago our DD was placed in our arms, so it's a very special week.:wub:

Oh my goodness...I'm so excited for you. I will be reaching out for some consultations soon. The thought of actually going to get all of this taken off is exciting and scarey. Best of luck to you. I cannot wait to hear how everything goes. Woo Hoo...

LJM: Do you celebrate "Gotcha Day" with your DD? We have made that a tradition with our adopted daughter. We read stories abuot how she came into our family and how happy we were and we do an activity that she wants to do. For the last 3 years it's been going to the Dinosaur museum. I'm hoping this year it will be somthing different! Glad you have lots of good stuff going on to distract you! I think it's important to start re-framing the surgery into as many mental postives as possible. I've starting saying things like, "I'm going to be healing." instead of "I'm not going to be feeling good, or I'll be in a lot of pain.", etc. I'm trying to picture light and love over my body. I think it will help. Maybe I'm just weird. At any rate, your going to be smoking hot soon!

karey,

we usually go to dinner and we then look at our china pictures. sometimes she wears her silk dresses, sometimes (ok, most times) she just doesnt want to and we dont force the issue. we try to keep it low key and it just be about her. im worried that this year it wont really be about her and that makes me sad ... :)

im trying to stay positive and not think im gunna croak on the table (see, there i go again...) ok ... starting NOW, positive healing thoughts. we're gunna be fine. we're going to heal well and yes, look smokin hot!!!

LJM: The doctors are going to take good care of you. It looks bad for them if their patients croak on the table! LOL! Try and visualize how you're going to wake up, look around, and think: "I'm alive and I think I've been hit by a semi!" How's that for positive thinking! LOL! Breath, Believe and Be Happy!

LJM~~ Happy Anniversary, Happy daughter Day and Happy Plastic Surgery Day!!! Just think how smoking hot and how great your going to feel afterwards. You are going to be able to live life to the fullest and spend so many great timies and years with your family!!!

So no more talk of croaking!!!! Ony positive thoughts...

yup ... i've heard that semi comment before... but that's ok ... i'll heal fine and then go up to see DH's parents and really freak them out !! LMAO.

they know i've lost some weight, but no clue how (nor will they ever know), nor do they know about the plastics ... so next time his family sees me, i'll be a 'normal' maybe in their eyes... 'normal' for them i think is 5'2" 100 pounds and Chinese... so not really normal to them... :):smile2:

LJM,

Happy anniversary! You're in my prayers for a quick and easy recovery, so that you can continue on your weight loss journey without missing a beat!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~good mojo comin' atcha~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
