  1. I finally got a fill yesterday , my first one in over 3 years. he put in .6 and I am tight, actually I have never had this tight feeling in my 4.4 yrs of being banded. I am drinking hot tea, and some warm broth today. I am hoping it is just swelling with not havng a fill in so long and will fell better soon, if not I will be calling Dr for a slight unfill of what he put in yesterday.
  2. I took out a medical loan thru Capitol One.
  3. You are a Rockstar Irene!!! :-)
  4. I had 9 lbs taken off ,and was able to buy pants 1 size smaller/.
  5. HEHE Porn star boobs. LOL I agree with Mimi, yours look great, not too big. Mine took about 6 full months to completely drop and get their correct size. It took me awhile to get used to having Perky boobs, as mine before were sacks also. Its funny when I shoot pool, I have to shift my body away from my arm as the boob hits my arm and messes up my shot. LOL
  6. I had 550 Cc silicones put in, I made me a large D, sometimes a DD in certain bras. I am large frame and weigh about 175, they look very natural and fit me very well. You will love your new girls. :-)
  7. WOHOO Lellow!!! Congrat on getting booked for the breast implants. When I ad my tummy done I wasn't too keen on the implants, But the morning of surgery I made the fnal decision and told the Dr to go ahead. and I AM SOOOOO glad I did them. Like fanny, mine are a wee bit bigger then I wanted, but I still love the perky thngs!! :-) I have to go peek at your tatoo, I have been telling my hubby for about 6 months now that I would like to get a tatt over my scars around my sides, he isnt keen on the idea, but if I really decide I want them, he will support me.
  8. Nope my insurance wouldnt cover any of my extended anchor tummy tuck. It did cover part of my band. So my husband and I took out a medical loan at a low interst rate to pay for my tummy and breast implants.
  9. No I wasn't at goal. I was at one time 300lbs, When I had lapband I was 255ish. I had my Anchor tt with muscle tightning and breast implants at 178. My Drs goal for me is to be at 135. HAHAHA that wont hapen, My goal for me is 155ish. so I was about 28 lbs from goal. But I had been stuck at 180 for about 9 months. WOuld I do it again at that weight, You bet I would. :-)
  10. Hey Steph, I pop in here every so often. I havent lost anymore weight, BUT I haven't gained any either. I'm about 175 ish. I still have a love hate relationship with my band, But it is what it is and I'm happy with where I am. :-) Hows everyone else doing?
  11. Laura, your Hollyhocks with rebloom each year. :-D
  12. WOW I haven't been on LBT in a long time.... I've been hanging out on facebook... Hi everyone, hope all i s going well, Hey there Michelle. Kathy, sorry to hear about your MIL. Christmas, yikes, I haven't even thought about it yet, I have to get thru my daughters Thesis defense and Grad school gradution first. :-) Ok just thought I would pop in and say HELLO to all of you. :-D
  13. I paid around $17,000 for Extended tummy tuck with an anchor cut, muscle tightening. Small breast lift with silicone implants. The price was for all dr's fees' the surgery center, the anasthesiologist, and 2 nights in a care center. Surgery was 7-8 hrs. I had a small revision done on the tummy because of scar issues due to necrosis and that surgery was 2.5 hours (basically a new tummy tuck was done) and the drs fees were free on that. All Drs visits were covered under the 17 grand for as long as I needed them. I'm in Calif and had the surgery in LA/Bev hills area
  14. Congratulations, once the swelling goes down on the boobs you will love them!!! :-)
  15. Congratulations Mimi!!!
  16. I agree with Mimi, Listen to your heart. I had 5 consults, 4 with different dr's and was told something different by all 4 of them. The 1st PS I saw was the one I went with as he was the most open and honest and not [pushy. Asked me WHAT bothered me the most. I knew going in I have issues with everything, BUT I also knew that I can't afford to fix it all in one surgery, and at that moment my TUMMY was what bothered me the most. I don't wear shorts very often so I can hide the thighs, as for the bat wong arms, well sure they need to be done, but I can live with them untill I win the lottery. I had an extended tummy tuck with anchor cut and also a breast lift with implants in my surgery. I don't see another surgery anytime soon as there just ins't any $$$ for it. Good luck in your next consult.
  17. Barbbee, Great results. And yes as the swelling goes down everythng will start to look better. My belly button was weird also, now its fine. :-)
  18. Alien, everyone heals at different levels, and sometimes complications arise. SOOOOO with that said and depending on "WHAT" you are having done and WHAT your job is, (sitting, or standing, heavy lifting, ect) your time off all depends on all these things. I unfortunatly had a complication and was in bed for almost 5 weeks because of it. Even if I would have not had issues, I still needed help for the first week with everything, I had an extended tummy tuck with the anchor cut, breast lift and implants. little things like going to the bathroom I needed help with. (yeah not fun) and if your having your arms and thighs done, then you are really going to need help. I was in a recovercy center for 2 days then a hotel near my dr for the rest of the week before I came home. Pain was managable as I had a pain pmp that delivered meds automatically for 3-4 days to my tummy tuck incision. So I would see if you can get a friend, or maybe a visiting nurse to come and stay and help you. :-)
  19. Hi Ohm, I had a few complications, and didn't exercise for months because of them. I had a revision to my TT in May 2009 to fix where the issue was. Uhmmm I have to admit I then had become lazy with my exercise and it was hard for me to get back into it, but I did, and while I haven't gained anything right now I also haven't lost anymore. I need to "STEP" it up more and get back into it with my whole heart!
  20. My port was moved over about 3 inches in towards my middle. It was more on my left "side" I dont wear bikinies, but if I did you could not see it as I'm not so skinny that it sticks out. But if I lay on my back, then yes it sticks out a little. My hubby calls it my "beetle"
