  2. HOw are you feeling Barbee? Remember the pain drugs are you friend right now. :-)
  3. Hi Ohm, I had the Anchor cut tummy tuck Oct 23, 2007. I had alot of upper flab as well as lower jelly belly also. I had 9 lbs removed. You can read about my journey and there are a few pix, on "Shalees October Overhaul" right here on the Plastic surgery thread. No amount of exercise would have gotten rid of my bellies. Yes it was painful, but that's to be expected. I also had the pain pump for 3 days which I highly recomend.
  4. TCB, If you don't have a good feeling with this PS, I also say run and don't look back. You will be putting your life into his hands and YOU MUST feel at ease with him. I went to 6 consults with 5 different PS'. A couple I just didnt feel at ease with, felt rushed, didn't seem to answer all my questions, ect. 2 others promised to make me a super model basically, said I would be skinny, scar and stretch mark free, and they would do it all in less then 3 hours for what I was wanting done.... Uhmmmm wow Do you have a magic wand I asked one, as he must be looking at a different body then mine. LOL The very first PS I saw was actually the one I liked from the get go, But I wanted to check out and compare Dr's and I ended up back for a 2nd consult and booked him that day. He spent almost 90 minutes the first time with me, didn't rush me, answered each and every question in plain english that I could understand, not Dr talk/words. didn't promise to make me a super model, but realistic in what he could do with what my body had to offer. explained different procedures to me, and the reasons as to why normally they don't do Arms and Thighs at the same time. I ended up haveing a Extended tummy tuck with Anchor cut , with muscle tightening and a small breast lift with implants. I love my PS and if and when I ever have the $$ to get anyting else done, I would go back to him in a heartbeat. You have to feel comfortable with Dr. :-D bottom line.!!!
  5. Good luck today, sending you healing thoughts!!!

  8. WOHOOOOO Fanny you look Marvolous!!! Merry Christmas to you!!!!
  9. Hi Fanny, Sorry about the sweeling, but it happens, Do you still have drains in? I wore my compression garments 24, 7 for about 3 months!! Long time, yes but I wanted to keep everything nice and snug. I actually felt better with the garments on. Becasue I had an Anchor cut done along with my extended tummy tuck, I was hunched over a good 3 weeks. Arrgghhh my back was killing me. Again tho, ALL the pain is worth the HOT body you are going have!! WOHOOOOOOOO
  10. HAHAHHA I agree with you Diva, At $1000 a pound I would be a poster child for weight loss!!!
  11. WOHOO Fanny!!! Wishing you healing thoughts !!!
  12. Wishing you all the best today Kate!!!! :-)
  13. WOW Allie you look great. I wish my thighs looked as good as yours do. :-) And yup them drains on the cookie sure as hell hurt like a %^#$@$%$ I too let out a yelp... Not fun at all. But oh so worth it in the end.. :-)
  14. I have rooted for Rudy all season!!! Go Rudy!!!
  15. Yah Fanny, it's al;most time to cross over to the flatlands!! hehehe Your ging to be amazed at your body with everything cut and removed. and the girls back in the correct country!! :-) I had a small lift and implants at the same time, so glad I did it all at once.... How exciting this is for you. :-) Will you be staying in the hospital a few days?
  16. Allie, take it easy, your body will be healing for a long time. As for the nipple not maching, your breast will be swollen for a while, they also take a few months to completly take thier final shape, after all swelling is done. I wish I could get a thigh lift, but I'm scared to do it, and I also don't have the $$$ I will be paying my tummy and boobs off for 12 more months.... Take it easy... :-)
  17. Allie, Glad yur doing good, sorry about the UTI, those are no fun. Just remember to take it easy and let your hubby help you with everything. And remember the pain meds are your friend right now. I know the drains are a pain, but its better to have them now and not get them out to early, and risk having seromas. Take it easy and don't overdue it. :-)
  18. Swwooooshing in to scoop up the trophy,, :-)

Irene, Girl you have come a long way, and your smile even more beautiful in your new pix. :-) Keep it up. Everyone else, have a great weekend. I will try and make good food choices. ,,, Kelly, back away from the birthday cake.... sigh.... I can do it...
  20. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Your going to love the new you. But is you plastic surgeon on board with you doing mostly liquids 2 weeks before the BIG surgery? The reason I ask is our bosies go thru a HUGE trauma and we need to be in the best nutricinal state we can to help with the recovery. If you plan on this liquids I would recomend in addition to high Protein shakes, that you try and get some Protein bullets. You can find them at GNC or online even, they have 42-45 grams of protein in each one. I lived on these in the week aftr surgery as I had a hard time eating solids after surgery. They are a great way to get in 150 plus grams of protein a day to help with the recovery process. Don't be bummed about being 50lbs from goal, I wasn't at goal when I went under the knoife, and I do not regret it at all. I look forward to following the rest of your journey. Kelly :-)
  21. Thanks for the update Josie. Now don't you have a wedding to plan? :-)
  22. Yah, Allie your on the other side now!! Thanks Danny for the update. Tell her to take it easy and let you help her with everything, and I mean everything, You hubbies are our lifelines in the days after plastic surgery. :-)
