  1. I had wound seperation issues/necrisis and the wound becasme so big that I was on bed rest for 5 weeks to keep it from getting bigger. It took over 4 months to completly heal. we did wet to dry dressings and packing it that whole time. anywyas I was left with a bit of hard scar tissue and a portion of my tummy along the top of the mons area and up to my belly button didn't heal IN all correctly and to me it resembles a small butt. Not the look I was going for when I had this TT. so he's going to cut from hip to hip, take out all the scar tissue, also cut from the belly button on down to the mons take out all that scar tissue, pull me down tight again and make a new BB hole. I also have a bit of scar tissue on my right side towards my back that also had a wound seperation, and he will be fixing that also. He said I should be ok, he doesn't forsee the same issues I had the 1st time, He removed 9 lbs and I had alot of stretch marks and thin skin to work with... It happens, it was a risk I was willing to take to be rid of the skin. I just want this to be over with so I can enjoy summer!!!! OK work awaits me.
  2. Ahhh the joys of being young and able to bounce back so fast. I to think your amazing in the fact that your able to be up and willing to go for round 2 already. My Oct surgery kicked my butt, I guess being 43 didn't help. I go in Tuesday to have my revision and am scared to death of just that. You are going to look like a supermodel when your all done, You have worked very hard for this, best of luck to you in your next step.!!! Can't wait to see the pix.

  4. Hello~~Hello~~~Hello~~ :blink:Peeking into the room. Boy it sure has been quiet in here. I just thought I would see how everyone is doing, Me well I did get a fill in Feb but I really haven't lost any weight so to speak of, I am hovering around 175ish. It's ok tho at least I'm not gaining. I will be going in to have a revision to my Oct 2009 tummy tuck. I had those wound seperation issues that took over 4 months to completly heal and close up. Well I was left with a weird looking tummy from the big hole  I had. So I go in next Tuesday May 5th to get it fixed.!!!! Yah I can't wait to have a normal looking tummy. I just hope and pray we don't have the same issues, Dr doesn't think I will as we aren't doing the extensive work he did the the first time. OK well I hope all the Nov. Nymphs are doing great!!!!! Kelly
  5. Wishing you all the best on your surgery tomorrow.
  6. Over the years I never went to the Dr for my rashes, it was just something I dealt with on my own, was too embaressed to go to the Dr and say, "hey Doc I have a rash from my fat belly " I also never imagined I would have the band, and be able to have my only dreamed about tummy tuck. so with that being said, if I had to do over again, I would go to Dr's and get the rashes, back pain, ect all on paper. so that when the time comes and you want/need plastics, you have it. we went ahead and sent in for insurance for my PS, but was denied, so my great hubby made it possible for me to have my TT last Nov. He's a keeper.
  7. Sorry your having seroma issues, not fun. I have to agree on the best rest thing, it really sucks. I was on it for a little over a month because of my wound issues. Not fun at all. And I have to say this surgery kicked my butt, Bb in the end it was/is all worth it. I also agree everyone should be warned these surgeries are painful and rough on our bodies.
  8. Hi, I have only lost 5 lbs since my PS on Oct 25th. I am going in for my Revision on May 5th. I was hoping to have lost about 15 by then, But it's not going to happen. I am having issues with my thyroid meds and also I haven't been eating my Proteins like I need to. But starting yesterday I am back on the wagon to try and drop 5 lbs before revision. I will say that even tho I haven't really lost any more weight I have gone down in sizes!!!!
  9. WOW look at all them drains!! hehehe But even with them all you look AMAZING!! you are going to be a little tiny thing when it's all said and done!! Welcome to the flatlands. Congratulations!!!!!
  10. Lellow, You look amazing and each and every day it gets even better. So glad your healing great and that your no longer draining!!! I still after 5 months check myself out in the mirrors/windows as I pass by, as I still can't believe it's me without a belly!!! WOHOOOOOO It was so worth every $$$ I spent!!!
  11. Yep, My C cups deflated and became sad floppy empty B cups. So I had them Refilled!! WOHOOOO I love my new "D" boobies!!!
  12. Sliding into the room......
  13. Nope no regrets at all!!!!
  14. WOHOOOO yes girl there is hope for you!! hehehehhehe
  15. I'm curious to know if Kaiser So Cal will do fills even if we were banded elsewhere, or have since changed insurance and have Kaiser now.
  16. Yep, after losing over 75lbs sex is more desirable, better and more frequent!!!
  17. I had United Healthcare PPO and I was approved within 3 days. had my surgery within 30 days. But I had to use a Dr that was in network. They wouldn't pay any out of network for weight loss. I had a BMI of 43 and had 2 cormorbitities. So that might have played into them approving it so fast. I didn't have to do any 6 months waiting period. We sent pix, a letter from my Dr's and a letter stating what I have tried in the past to lose weight, sort of like a time line of my weight loss/gains/failures. I know each UHC policy can be different and also some companies exclude it. Good luck in your journey.
  18. HI, Congratulations on your next step. I had an extended tummy tuck with an anchor cut. 9 lbs removed. I still need to lose about 25 lbs, so I wasn't at goal, but boy is it nice to not have that belly anymore. I didn't have an unfill, as it had been 9 months since my last I had had one, so I wasn't tight at all with restriction. My port was moved over about 2 -3 inches towards the middle of my tummy now. it used to be more on my side, of my belly, I didn't get a low profile port, we didn't think I would need it yet. He took out my 2 c-section scars and my hysterctomy scar when he removed my skin, and a whole bunch of stretch marks, WOHOOOOO Your going to love the new you.
  19. Juli, Glad all is going good. one day all the pain will be just a distant memory and you will LOVE the new Tiny you!!!
  20. I remember LTM saying to do squats, so I made sure to do a ton in the months leading up to my surgery, I too believe it helped alot getting up and down.
  21. WOHOOO Lellow, you look great!!! With my Anchor Cut I was hunched over a good few weeks. That was the worst for me pain wise.
  22. I also agree that the backpain was the worst of any of it.
  23. If it were me, I would wait till after kids to have my TT. My 1st pregnancy I gained 75 lbs. and my 2nd pregnancy was with twins. Both did a number on my tummy and muscles.
  24. Hmmm makes me wonder with all the bad stuff going on in the world. Recently, an 8 year old girl is kidnapped and found 3 days later dead in a suitcase in the bottom of a reservoir in Tracy, Ca. Why does your God let these things happen to good innocent people, why let kids suffer. what kind of God does that??? I was raised Christian, babtized the whole 9 yards. But as I got older and see these things happening in the world, I do/have/am questioning the "GOD" out there.
  25. Wishing you good luck and a speedy recovery Juli.
