Mimi, your incision is looking good, Sorry for the seroma, but it will get better, trust me, I had a wound seperation that took 4 months to heal and then I needed a revision to fix it, you will get thru this and look Marvolous!!!!! The pain pill are your friend, use them when needed, you dont need to have the pain. Josi, I too had a couple of those inner stictches not disolve and have to be picked at to get them out. I agree about the panties, I'm one of those that can't stand the thong up my butt, hehehe But I have been a very frequent shopper of Vistorias secret and I am proud to say I own WAYYYY to many pairs of size Medium panties in all colors and pretty fabrics. WOHOOOOO no granny panties for me anymore. :-) I'm going to have to go look online for this hanky panky panty line....

I went to Zales and got a ring guard, they put it on for me, and I wore that for about a year. then it got to the point that I HAD to get my ring resized. It went from a tight size 8.5 to a loose 6. Its been another year and I could probably go down .5 of a size right now. I'm just waiting to see if I can drop these last freaking 20-25 lbs

Hi all, Ive been a bad eater this week. I made Cookies and well then I ate some of them. But I did send the rest to work with my hubby yesterday to get them out of the house. Cari I too have thyroid issues that was discovered a year after banding, so now I am on meds for that, hoping they get the dosage all figured out real soon for me tho. I know that I need to get my butt back into the gym to kick start my weight loss again and tighten things up. Have a great weekend everyone!!!

I'm not homeless per say, just need a fresh start... So I'll hang with you gals. I'm Kelly Banded Nov 07. I have lost 73-75 lbs. But I've been stuck for about 12 months at the same weight now. I've been married 6 years this week. and I have 3 grown daughters. I live in Bakersfield, Calif.

I'm 10 months out from TT and 4 months out from my TT revision. and I don't have pain when couching or sneezing. But like Josie I swell after working out. My tummy always feels really tight like a girdle also.

Mimi, I too was undecided/undecisive about gettng implants. I wwent back and forth for months. I was like, Uhmm I'm almost 44 and my bras hold em up, I had it worked out with my PS that if I decided that I didn't want them the morning of he would refund me that portion that I had paid, since he was already doing a extended tummy tuck with anchor cut he didn't mind not doing the breast. But I figured I'm a big chicken and wouldn't want to go under again or have the pain again so I did it. I'm so GLAD I had them done, I love my perky breasts:w00t:

The lift was supposed to cost an additional $2000. But I told Dr I had NO more $$$ and to not do the lift. But he went ahead and did the small cresent lift when he put in the implants and did not charge me at all. and when I had my revision done that was also no charge. :blushing:

Laura, I knwo that there are a handful of ladies on LBT that have revised from band to sleeve all in one surgery, *Susan*, Oregondaisy, elizabethsew?(sp) theres a thread where they tell all about it. I know they all went to Dr Aceves in MX. I wonder why you were quoted for 2 surgeries, if they can do it in one??? maybe thats a precasution if theres a problem when they get inside? dont know,,, anyways good luck, will keep you in my thoughts. Hey Minidriver, I have lost 10 lbs since the original surgery in Oct 2008, But I must be honest I haven't really done much in the way of exercise since my TT. I was on complete bed rest for 5 weeks after PS becasue of a Large wound seperation. after I was allowed up again I really had no energy, so I would go a short walks. I had my revision in May 2009. I havent gained anything so that's a plus. But I want to drop the last 20 lbs. My band dr wants me to lose 40 more But I dont see that happening. I do know that I had a large pannus and so exerciseing now is soooo much easier, biking and running, even swimming is so different without having to wear 2 pairs of panty girdles. I have a fill scheduled in 2 weeks and hope that helps me to kick into gear and drop the last few pounds. good luck,

$17,000 for Extended tummy tuck with an anchor cut, breast lift and breast augmentations with silicone implants. This included OR, anastesiolgiost, Pain pump, 2 nights in a healing center. all follow up visits. I also had a revision and my surgeon charged me nothing for it. I believe when it was broken down the tummy part was abut $10,000. I had it done in Beverly hills, But I had 5 consults and there wasn't very much difference in price from Bakersfield, Lancaster, Los Angelos and Bev hills at all, Maybe $500. so I went with the Dr who I felt most comfortable with even tho he was a little more it was well worth it.

Hi Quenne, My breast have never been bigger then a C cup no matter if I weighed 300 or 150. But afterlosing the weight this time, they became very deflated. The PS's I saw for consults all told me the same thing a lift for me would make my breasts a Large A small B cup with no cleavage. Uhmmmm Not the look I was hoping for. So I opeted for a Cresent lift above the nipple and implants to fill them out. I didn't want bigger breasts just my full C cups back. I choose a high profile under the muscle silicone implant, 525CC and it made me a D cup. they are very natural looking and fit my frame nicely. I would get at least 2-3 consults and hear what they all have to say.

Hi Sue, I had a revision surgery in May to my original tummy tuck/breast augmentation done in Oct, 2008. He did a scar revision of the tummy tuck. (basically another tummy tuck on me) and a small dog ear was taken care of at the top of my anchor cut, right under the breasts. and some scar tissue from the nipples was taken care of. He didn't charge me anything. But I did have to pay the surgry center fee and anasthia (sp) fees. Had it been done in his office there would have been NO charge whatsoever. But because it took over 2.5 we opted for the surgery center.

I had an extended tummy tuck, with anchor cut also. Small cresent breast lift with implants placed.

My PS was very honest with me, asked me what I was looking for /expected. And then he told me what he could do for me, he didn't make promises of a perfect model tummy. I still have stretch marks that were on the upper part and now have been pulled lower. BUT I have a flat tummy, and a belly button that's not hidden. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
