Have been looking into LapBand for over a year. I was unable to lose the needed weight for surgery last year, but am trying again this year. I'm currently waiting on insurance approval and need to lose about 8 pounds to be eligible for surgery at my hospital. They only operate on a person with a BMI of 50+
