Im sorry, I know they taste terrible. I dont mind the Unjury readymade though. I give it a 10/10 on taste for a Protein Shake.

Is it the Protein itself you think or the taste/aftertaste?

Ice cold water.. Milk will add too many calories and sugar.

Unjury ready to drink has milk in it but only 2G of sugar and 110 calories in 8.5oz. I put that stuff against anything else for best taste

Unjury is the only RTD one I've found so far that I like. Their powdered Protein is good as well.

If your more than 6 months post op, you shouldn’t need shakes. My Protein goal is low 50grams and I’m doing perfectly fine. Weight loss and lab wise. Don’t let people discourage you.

Well it's a personal preference.. Some ppl are so busy they may need to substitute one meal for a shake still..

I'm nearly 5 months post surgery and still use shakes on days when I'm real busy.. my Protein goal is still high.. everyone is different

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
