Can you feel your band?

I mean that while standing up, I can put my hand on my stomach and feel something big. I think it's my band. I know its not my port, because it's way higher up from where they stick me for a fill. Anyway, I have noticed this ever since my swelling went away and wondered if anyone else can feel theirs?

Im not being sarcastic here, but the only thing higher then my port that is HARD is my sternum. Are you sure its not THAT?

when I lay down my port is a little lower I can feel it when I do a sorta sit up. When I stand up it is right under my bra line. Other than that no need to feel it sort of happens by mistake kinda freaks me out.

My port is about six inches left of my belly button. Sorry I cant help.

LOL, Paula!!! My port is just to the left of my bellybutton. I'm pretty sure it's not my sternum I'm feeling, LOL!

The weird thing is that I can feel my band when I stand up, but not when I lay down. I used to worry that it had popped open somehow, but I have seen it on flouro 3 times now and it looks just like it's supposed to. Hmmm...

This is driving me crazy. I'm digging around my left rib section. There's just no way...I can't feel anything but my port.

Hey Ryan!!! Great to see you on here!!!

Hilarious!!!

OMG! You've done so well, and lost so much weight that you're feeling your BACKBONE! Go eat some ice cream. Quick! Save yourself!

:D

My port is 1/4 inch from my waist (or where it's suppose to be) and I can feel it very easily, anytime. My band is at the sternum and boy is it working nicely, thank goodness, although very picky about what it lets through.

Twisted my port but not bad enough to have it fixed at this point...but the band..nope cannot feel that at all. Port sticks out and can be seen if shirt is off. But then I impress people with my mind not my belly so I don't care lol

I am probably the only one, but I have a sensitive sensation around the band area(front left belly). But then, I did have some strange burning pain earlier on in that area. It's all better, only the sensation remains. I expect it to go away as well, since it's getting better each day. Guess that's just the way my body responded to the band. My doctor nor anyone else seems to have ever heard of this. WIERD!
