    Silicone or Saline ?

I didn't think anyone did on top of the muscle anymore. Karey, short term memory here, did you use saline or silicone and are you still happy with the results?

No, I didn't have that issue. What liquids are you drinking? It may have something to do with your liquids, are you drinking anything with salt, like that Campbells Soup at Hand? You can try switching your liquids and see if that helps, and keep the sf popsicles handy. Good Luck!

Kat, thanks for the update. I'm glad you took her to the doctor, can't be too safe for sure. As for your daughter, I just don't know what to say, except a prayer. Snow, ha, it was almost a record breaker here today 74 at my house , I could handle an early spring. Sherry, got your jammies on and reading your book? Trish, love your posts on FB. Betty, come join us ya hear! Diane, I enjoyed the cocktail, goes so well with the warm weather. Almost time for my girlie shows, glad the Grammys are on 3 not 13. Nite all!

Oh Kat, I just found this post, (of course I'm not getting email reminders), just decided to check in. As a Nana, I so feel for you. Everytime one of the boys decides he doesn't need help getting out of the tub, which is surrounded by tile, and I can just vision them doing the same thing! Poor, poor child, not to mention mama, gma and gpa, I wish I was there to give you a big hug. How are all of you doing today, could we get an update please!!!!! If she starts burning from the urine, put her in the tub, yes the dreaded tub, with enough Water to cover her bottom and tell her to pee, that way it will be diluted and shouldn't burn. More hugs!

Trish, yes these are 42 grms, and they do taste thick, LOL. Yes, the weather is awesome, without a doubt, just got back from walking about 1/2 mile to a little pizza shop, the walk backed helped with the full tummy...(large) side salad and chili that I ate with a fork! We wore sweatshirts, but had to take them off because it was so balmy. Going home on Thursday, but I was ready Sunday, until I heard it was raining. I was a slug today, so lazy, didn't leave the hotel until 2:00, tomorrow I'm going to be out and about early! You girls have to remember I'm old, your day will come .

Hello gal pals! We spent the entire day looking at property again today, which was only one day so far this trip, it's 73 right now, but the wind is whipping so it feels chilly to me. A far cry from the temps Diane was speaking of, oh no, I hope it's not like that when we get back on Monday. Hubby has begged me to change our flights and return Thurs or Friday, but I'm done, I'm ready for home, heck all this talk about exercising, getting back on the right track, using Wii Fit, AND a fill coming up in a couple of weeks, has given me inspiration to get my arse in gear as well. Diane, even my bra hurts, LOL. I was shopping for a bathing suit yesterday and this lady was with me that's a bit heavier than me said, oh you should be able to find a suit, you're so tiny! I laughed out loud, I told her tiny was one thing I had never been called, especially after a week of cocktails and great food. Betty we ate at this place today called Houston's, it was on the intercoastal waterway, OMG, it was so good, and the view of all the yachts going back...WOW. Not sure it was worth the 2 hour wait and the $45.00 bar tab, but hubby said the $13.00 cheeseburger was awesome, it was so big he had to eat it with a knife and fork. I wish we were going to the Dolphins game on Sunday, but it was just fun being in the stadium on New Years Night for the Orange Bowl, it was beautiful and ultra modern. Talk about pricey cocktails, OMG, if I remember correctly, it was 10.00 each or $16.00 for a double. Later gang

    Four years today!

Thank you all so much, at my age, almost 60, I feel like an inspiration. I love the new me and I'm not only lovin life, I'm living it to the fullest. You can all do it. There are lots of people that have done a lot better than I have in a shorter amount of time, that's why it's so important to realize we're all individual and we lose at our own pace. Hugs to you all. Here's a picture of me a few days before surgery and then a couple of weeks ago, again, at my 40th anniversary party, like I said lovin life!

    Having problems with new clothes

I love my low rise jeans, only since I've lost the weight and had a tummy tuck! At my age, I can't stand pressure around my waist or pants that cut me in the crotch, talk about miserable. I'm totally into comfort, if I find jean that fit better than others, I'll buy two or three pairs. Do you have a Dress Barn close by? They make the most comfortable jeans and they have good sales on their holiday clothes.

Sherry, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, espcially this time of year. The thought of losing my band scares the chit out of me! Please keep us informed and know we're her for you, I know that's not much comfort at this time, but like you said, you need to heal first. (((Hugs)))) Kat, I'm interested in the list too, I'm ashamed to admit, but I owe everyone two cards, I don't know what happened, but I never got my cards out last year. My address is the same too, but I'll pass it on again, thanks for taking the time to compile the list.

    Having problems with new clothes

My jeans don't go down to 4, but they vary from 14, 12, 10's. Yesterday I had on a pair of 14's figured they'd be comfy, NOT! They were the regular waisted, I thought I'd come unglued by the time I got home. I thought because they were a little big the "regular" waist wouldn't bother me. I felt like my entire body was in a vise, LOL. I love my 10s and 12s that are low waisted, never again with those waist fitted jeans. I'm on a mission to find some corduroy type jeans today, they're so much more comfy.

Sherry, I'm so sorry you're having issues AGAIN. Like you, I so hoped this fill would be ok and maybe it was a swollen esophagus issue. It's so scary not to be able to breathe or to feel like you're drowning. I hope they can see you on Monday....hugs!

Sherry, what an ordeal, what a long day! I'm glad you're back home, safe and warm! We stopped at a "Days Inn" on the way to Floriday years ago, and I slept in my clothes, because I still believe the sheets had not been changed from the last "many" visitors. I didn't sleep a wink, it was awful. Well gals, hope everyone has their shopping done, I figued there must be some reason everyone's missing. Later gals!

Kathy, I would suggest you check in the "insurance and financing" section of forums. You will probably find a wealth of info there, as well as other forums, such as the introduction section or general lapband questions. Good luck on reversing their decision.

Michaele, glad everyone is ok, such a pia to go through, but like Trish said, congrats on the "silver lining". I'm so pissed, excuse the unlady like talk, we were scheduled to go see the cliff divers tonight, had my taxi lined up and everything, then the freakin pipe bursted on our floor, no Water from 2 until after 8'pm! Needless to say they will hear about it tomorrow. They offered to move us, but I was not about to move at 8pm, plus I'm a germ freak and had already doused this room with disinfectant, so it was fairly comfortable, you know, door knobs, light switches, head boards, couch cushions, chairs, door handles, railings, toilet flusher thingy, faucets, counters, phones, remotes, you name it I sprayed it. Oh well, the trip has been fabulous until today, I even made a point of speaking to the General Manager today and telling him how fab this resort is, only to have our water disrupted for over 6 hours. I know waaawaaawaa. Worse things could have happened. Later gals.

Ebonie, welcome to bandland! Sounds like you're doing great and all is normal. Don't over do it, just keep walking. Way back when I had my surgery, it was an over nighter, I had surgery on Monday, home on Tuesday, drove to the store on Wed. Keep up the good work and enjoy your new "friend". Hugs

Sherry, if I can get this email to work, the sending part, I'll forward you the pictures so you can downsize for me :smile2:. That's the only problem with this wifi stuff, it works one way. I've got a Verizon stick and it receives very well, but I can't get my email to go, boohoo. Hey as for Mexico, we're going the 13th of next month to Celebrate the big 40, now that I'm looking forward to. I have to admit the weather is awesome here. We spent the afternoon looking at condo's and OMG, freakin fortune. We went into this one ocean front and it had an European kitchen, fancy dangled espresso machine, installed in the wall, just like a microwave. They had instant hot Water at the sink and a hot water spout over the huge stove. Well as you all know that would have been one heck of a waste for me...haha. Diane, where are you? Darcy, don't look for me to open that box too fast, I bought a new printer last November, wireless, yep, it's still sitting in the box. Betty, I'm so excited you got your hair cut, I'll bet it is awesome, can't wait to see it.

Good Morning Girlies, Eileenie, great to hear from you, so sorry you're all sick. Going to Disney, where are Cindy and Patty, they could give you lots of tips on Disney. Where are you staying? Are you staying on site? When I took my grandson a few years ago we stayed at the Caribbean Resort, I was so disappointed, no room service for my coffee in the mornings and the rooms were very small. Sherry and Kat, hope those bands are better today. Betty, are you riding today or cooking? How are the "girls" ? I saw the most beautiful sunrise today and yesterday. This morning when the sun came up over the ocean, there were some clouds along the horizon and it looked like mountains. Yesterday I was an electrician, installed two outside lights, without mounting brackets, had to improvise. Then last night I got back from the store and hubby had burned something, I thought I'd made a bad connection and the house was smoldering, LOL. It's supposed to be 80 here at the beach today and tomorrow, then drop, so this may be the last warm days for the year. Hugs all around.
