Hi Everyone! I’m looking into getting the VSG procedure. Just starting my research. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as Bariatric surgeons in Mexico? The bariatric surgeons that keep popping up are Dr. Jalil Illan & Dr. Ariel Ortiz. Any Recommendations? Please share your experiences. Thanks

Does Dr. Illan fix hiatal hernia if he discovers the patient has it? Are drains placed after gastric sleeve?

Yes, he does do hernia repairs.

Dr. Illan does not use drains.
