Like everyone has mentioned, being nervous is normal. You're going to have a huge change in your life. If you're married, you probably had similar nervousness right before walking down the aisle. Or right as you were signing papers to buy your first house, or your first car. This is going to be the best decision though for your health and well being. Come on out to the threads and read and comment, we're a fairly friendly bunch, and we love to give support.

All the best to you!

Thank you all very much for the kind words and support. I have 2 days 11/20/2019 . Wow it has finally happened for me to be on the losers bench. Still crazy nervous but very excited. I can’t wait to feel better. My starting weight is 220.3 today and 5’1. Best wishes to everyone on this journey. Has anyone made a YouTube channel about their journey. I’m really thinking of doing it to hold myself accountable.

Please, teach me and others how to enjoy the excitement and once in a lifetime (for some) journey. I want to be present in each step and not caught up in my head with the future. I like your idea of enjoying the excitement, because my a** is scared, lol.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
