My PCP won't support my decision to have the surgery in Mexico

I've had this PCP for years and she knows my struggle with weight loss. She knows that in order for me to lose the weight I need the surgery but she doesn't support my decision to have it in Mexico. She says that I need to have it here in the States where things are regulated and if I choose to still have it then she won't be my "go to" person if something happens and I need a doctor.

Does anyone have a similar experience? I could really use some advice.

The same thing happened to me. Don't let their ignorance dissuade you from pursuing Mexico. I am fully confident in my surgeon and clinic. I am going to switch docs because I need someone comfortable

I’m a nurse practitioner. In 2017 2 of our office staff went to Mexico for the sleeve. The physician we worked for went with them to check it out and learn more about their program. She was impressed and very comfortable with the facility, the surgeons, and process. The ladies have both done excellent. We also have had several patients go to the same place and they have all done well. We have a patient who had surgery by Dr Nowzardan and that has been a nightmare recovery. Complications can happen anywhere. You can easily find a doctor who will watch out for you. You May find you like that doctor better.

Try Dr Bass - in Fort Myers he has done a ton and very resonable

BLOSSOM IN VEGAS IS VERY GOOD PRICED AS WELL DO YOUR RESEARCH THOUGH I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE IN MEXICO @OCC
