Skany Evil Repulsive Patient Coordinators

IMO there aren't any "conspiracy theories" here...seems that a simple analysis of the series of posts on this thread reveals all. I'm starting to think that I might soon qualify for a degree in psychology just by studying human nature on-line! I wonder if I can turn this into a research project somehow for college credit? :)

You and me both! Something along the line of "An Analysis of Online Interaction Among Members of a Weightloss Support Website?" Hey, find the right professor, and I'm sure you could make a convincing pitch for it. I've seen research papers that had less to work with. Hell, I saw someone's mock-up for a poster presentation on sex and the presentation of women in media. If they could do that, surely this site would be fair game. Hell, I'd read it. But then again, I read ornithological research journals for fun, too.

Way off topic Trans but every time I see your name I start singing in my head " Transformers, more then meet the eye."

Ok....resume topic.;)

LOL! You know I chose that moniker because I keep hoping that my slowly deflating, flabby body will magically "transform" into something that looks more like Demi Moore's!!!

(At least I picked someone who is chronologically about my age not counting the years she's taken off with various PS procedures)!

I would never advocate posting anything entitled "the Snoopy Dance," at a time like this, would I? :heh: Naw, I'll behave!!!!

Just tired of all the drama is all!

Shoot. Demi looks better than I do and I'm only 27. ;)

hello? and SHES NOT ME....

and ive sat back through this bs and kept quiet. Not one single "im sorry" or "we were wrong" came from anyone.

Its okay though...i know theres a lot of posts to type.

But you WERE wrong, and "im sorry" goes a long way.

Im a real live person. Ive been off this board for a month because of stuff wasa did the last time i disagreed with her. I found that once i let go and went outside my life changed..for the significant better. Im going back outside. id like to peek in from time to time, but seriously? i had not even signed on for the last month and come back to find my name slung around as if im the bad guy here and im not.

I TOLD YOU IT WASNT ME.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
