Hello!
Tomorrow (or today.. it's 12:30 am), the 18th, I will go for a final weigh-in before my surgery on the 22nd. My last visit was on the 2nd, and I was at 387. They said I would have to be 370 by next visit but I just check and I'm at 377... While I lost 10 lbs since last visit, I'm anxious that they'll say it wasn't enough. Has anyone experienced this before? I need some reassurance!
I've been on liquid diet the past week just to make sure I'd be at my lowest and I'm so unbelievably frustrated I'm not at 370 yet. Help!

That's tricky. If you had more time i'd suggest doing a bowel cleanse to get a bit more weight off. I'd think 10 lbs would be fine but it depends on how strict your Dr is about that.

I'm crossing my fingers that all goes well and that you have a great surgery and recovery :)

Great job losing the 10pounds. I'm hoping the Doctor is ok with moving forward.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
