breezing by the plus section

Recommended Posts

for the first time in 10 years, i finally breeze by the plus section without even glancing at it. it was so weird in the beginning once i got to "normal" sizes. i felt so unsure that i would fit into "regular" sizes. i started at a size 24 last November and now i am a .... wait for..... SIZE 8. that's 8 sizes down in 8 months and i am still not even at goal weight! when i was 140lbs before, i was a size 12. muscle certainly weighs more than fat! i can't remember the last time i was a size 8!!

also... so.many.more.clothing.options. HALLELUJAH.

Yeah April, isn't the selection fantabulous when you leave plus sizes behind! I have reverted to Junior sizes, Okay I admit, it's the Upper side of the size range, but I AM STILL LOSING AFTER ALL!

It feels good to go to the smaller size sections of stores . . . but it still amazes me (surgery in 2016) that I can fit such small clothes.

Congrats to everyone on their loss - -#imaloser

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
