Getting Sleeve Done in Two Weeks

Recommended Posts

The pre-op diet is rough, no denying it. You really need to power through and focus on the long-term goals. Even if you struggle with the liquids, try to pack them down. It helps to calm your hunger. Also, try chewing on sf popsicles or frozen Protein Drinks. They (at least) make you feel like you're eating. Good luck!

You can do it! It's just two weeks and it shrinks your liver and it's so worth it.

Try different flavors. I found it helpful to alternate flavors. chocolate, vanilla, caramel, clear fruit protien drinks, a lemonade drink, beef broth, chicken broth. Sweet, sour and savory.

Hang in there. Try to remind yourself of the reasons you are here.

I wish you the best.

Yesterday marks two weeks pre-op. I am getting nervous and struggling on the all liquid. I feel so hungry any advise?

We are almost sleeve twins, my surgery is July 30. I'm so excited! I start my diet this weekend. My doctor said Protein Drinks except for one tiny meal and he gave a list of what I can eat. I will probably stick with cottage cheese. Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
