I am almost 2 yrs out from surgery. I had gotten myself a pair of Miss Me Jeans for my “goal jeans” (from 24 to 14’s). Back when I was a 24- I mentally couldn’t imagine myself ever be close to a 14. (I seriously thought this was too far fetched of a goal) I would love to be there. I even took pics of the 2 pairs of jeans together that was I would have a visual of my success. Well- here I am rocking those 14’s. I probably could go down to 12’s! (Sw 280 to CW 203) Why can I not be happy with this?? I still feel so fat. Almost more conscious than I was when I was larger. It’s like my upper belly area is like a mega muffin top! 😩 I’m starting to be afraid- even if I were to lose more weight- would I even be happy with it. So depression comes in & says.. why bother trying.

I can relate to what you're saying. Now that I've lost weight I feel even fatter than I was when I started and I worry so much about it. Congrats on your success, you look great!

You look *much* better - and I bet you're a lot healthier, too!!!

Although I get what you're saying - I've been at a normal BMI for over two years now, and I still feel fat when the scale's up a few pounds (and sometimes even when it's not).

Honey, you look FABULOUS!! This is a mind game ~~ although I haven't had my sleeve yet (its scheduled for June 3, 2019) I already know I am not expecting "certain attributes" for my body, I just simply want to wear clothes better, feel healthy and more in shape, and just generally not let food rule my life... I know I will always have a big butt (it runs in my family), small breasts (which will become smaller), and I am not expecting to wear a bikini, or be the best looking girl in the room ~~ and that's OK with me! Learning to be proud of yourself and the way you look is not easy, but you will get there!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
