I believe I have ruined m y opportunity I had my sleeve procedure on Nov 2017 ans since then I have lost 100 pounds but in last few months I have gained like 30 pounds I trying hard no to gain more now I can eat more I am hungry all the time I can eat like the normal person I am so depressed and whenever I try to keep track and get on the wagon one more time I fail i think I have get back to point zero or before the surgery . I was obese since I was child I failed all types of diet I have tried and now it is the same I can't do any diet for more than two days I can't believe how fast the stomach got stretched and gaining weight . I have failed my surgery which make me so depressed.

I hate the work failed. You are struggling with the disease of obesity. No need to beat yourself down for having a disease....Right?

Many of us have different risk factors and issues to overcome. Surgery does not change are old behaviors. If you are struggling with staying on plan for two days, you may want to find a counselor or therapist to help you battle the mental side of weight loss.

Many gave advice on diet, stretching, and staying on plan. So, I won’t give you information you already have. I do understand how emotional it is to have regain. You’re not alone.

We all have a relationship with food that is not normal. The best book I have read is "Mindful Eating" by Jan Chozen Bays, MD

Hi, I'm sry to hear that you are upset about gaining weight after gastric sleeve surgery. But I thought gastric sleeve can cure obesity permanently. I searched on Google and I saw this image:

As I know in gastric sleeve surgery they remove part of the stomach and it helps patients to eat less and gain less weight. so is this surgery a temporary solution and each person should diet after surgery again?

In this case, what's the advantage of these weight loss surgeries?

Have you had your pre op class yet? Surgery is only a tool. You must do the work. This is not the easy way out. Surgery restriction alone will not keep you successful long term.

I thought If you do these surgeries you can't eat like before and it helps you to not gain back weights. I didn't know patients must still have a specific diet to maintain their surgery results.

5 day pouch reset may be a good restart for some. Good advice.

Some other things to think about.

It doesn't adress the the mental side of staying on plan. It also may be too restrictive if you are years out, have extra sleeve space and are trying to trouble shoot hunger. Many options to look at. some do keto. Intermittent fasting, vegan. It may be some trial and error to find what works.

Trouble shooting extra sleeve space. I eat dense protein and other foods on my plan. I eat as much veggies as I want until full. I log to make sure I stay within my weight loss calorie and macros

Years out weightloss calories may have to be dialed in specifically to find a point that you're body goes into weight loss mode. Years out 600 to 800 may not be realistic. Its not realistic for me personally.

Calories macros are not same numbers for each of us. It can be dialed in specifically for an individual.

Weight loss Is not as simple as a one size fits all.
