Good Morning Bellas

B-Side question: What are your favorite/least favorite type or brand of Vitamins?

I have IC (painful bladder syndrome). When I have flares it basically feels like the worse UTI imaginable. Post op it got a LOT worse. Normally I can control it with diet so it didn’t make any sense two weeks out that it was getting so intense . After searching some boards I found out that Voila, it was my vitamins!!! Most Vitamins use abscorbic acid to formulate Vitamin C. I found a low acid one called “multiright low acid formula” . The difference is night and day!!!
And I use BariMelts for my Calcium twice daily and in the afternoon I eat a Calcium chew sort of like a treat! The salted caramel 😋

8) this sounds like an awesome prompt for an art journal page 😎
But for right now I am most proud that I have been sticking to my plan and working through some of my addiction issues with food. (With no loss of life and minimal blood shed 😂)

#8. Did my list, I’ve accomplished a lot!

Finished the 20 & 20. Went to the gym and burned off more calories.

B. I hate chewable vitamins, we aren’t supposed to have Gummy ones right?

8. Did my 20 crunches and 20 squats. Also 30 minutes on the treadmill. Ran late this morning so I haven't done more than that as far as exercise. Making a list of my accomplishments is really good for my head right now...I've accomplished more than I can list. How nice is that?!

B-side - Really no opinions about the Vitamins. Currently doing Women's One a Day for my multi. The only chewable I have left right now is my B-12.

8. I did the exercises and wrote my accomplishments.

B Side-For Vitamins I did liquid right after surgery but now I'm doing regular pills. I don't really have favorite brands. I'll sometimes by the generics if I can find them because they are cheaper. I take One a Day, calcium citrate, D3 5000 IU, I do get my B-12 from Trader Joes.

Not gonna lie. Today was a complete challenge in and of itself.

Battled hunger and crankiness, but I did get a lot of Water in.
After work and Pilates, I’ve got nothing left in the tank.
Tomorrow is a new day though so I’m optimistic

DAY 9: Need to refocus. Stress getting to me. Falling back on a bad habit of "mindless munching." You definitely have to stay vigilant. I'm trying not to beat myself up over it. Today's challenge is perfect: drink more Water. I'm keeping flavored water, sugar free Gatorade etc. close by. Anytime the urge to munch comes along , I'm drinking!

Starting weight April 1 was 203; Goal by April 31 is 186, which would be 100lbs at my 6 month anniversary. I wouldn't have said that on April 1, but somehow plopped down 6lbs over the weekend... so 6 more to go.

Making an effort to drink more today! Found some sugar free koolaid packets in my desk and I think they are... old... so I'll have to scrounge for something else. Blecchhh.

Trainer today for the first time in a week. I'm scurrrred. But excited to be going back.

Edit: I now realize there are only 30 days in April. But I'm still saying April 31 because that's technically May 1 and that's my real 6 month anniversary. LOL.

Day 8: Struggled to do a list of my accomplishments, but I will keep pondering it.

B-side: I'm still figuring out my Vitamins. I use Jamieson women's multi's and take an additional 2000iu of Vitamin D. One of my pre-surgery goals is to get my vitamins sorted out. My dietician recommended chewable maternity vitamins, and I need to get some different B vitamins too.

Day 9: Drinking Water hasn't been a problem for me for years. When I was first diagnosed with diabetes when I was expecting our oldest, I got rid of all the sugary drinks in my life cold turkey. I regularly drink 60-80oz of water on a usual day, plus whatever I need when I'm active. I sometimes use different liquid enhancers (like Crystal Lite) but straight up cold water is great. I will confess that I was a Coke Zero junkie for a long time, but I have given it up for Lent and it won't be back.

#9 I promise today I will drink more. That and pain pills have me with a colonic train wteck, I am whimpering No Mas, off to seek more professional help, Miralax, MoM and fleets have given no relief. I will be one of those people they just love- Old lady full of 💩- seems thick, softish but my rectal muscles have given up or something. I'm saying "Por Favor", they are saying "No Mas", of course they would speak Spanish, it is South of the Border for me!💩❤😪😭😥

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
