I agree with Calgalintx, I also work in a hospital and talking about patients in such a way is against policy in most places. You should report her if you can or ask for a different nurse to be assign
I just had surgery a few days ago and I am having guilt and regret. I am under a lot of pain especially in my throat, and my chest and my stomach skin area and insides. When I was in the OR I was having major anxiety and wanted to call it quits but felt too deep into it to call it quits. I am having a hard time taking in liquids and if i don't drink the required 5 cups, I will not be discharged today.
I am trying to drink and walk but the pain is not letting me right now.
I heard the nurse talk to another nurse calling me a big baby. I usually have high pain tolerance but my stomach feels all types of messed up.
Any ideas? help? please.
