Is there anyone here from the Pittsburgh PA area? I don't know anyone, personally, whose had Gastric Bypass.

I watched your latest video on YouTube today. Thanks for the helpful charts and info. That's pretty cool how you broke all of the numbers down. You sound very determined and that's a great inspiration.

I work in Pgh, but live up in Armstrong. Route 28 sucks!

I had my RNY on 1-29 at Butler Hospital by Dr. Daniel Gagne.

I am in Pittsburgh and thinking about gastric bypass with Dr. Courcoulis. I thought I wanted gastric sleeve but they seem to prefer bypass. I am three months in but still very unsure about this whole thing.

You're so sweet. Thank you! My plan is working. On the day of that video, I weighed 219. Today I weigh 210!! 🙂

Dr. Courcoulis was my surgeon, too! Are you going to the monthly support groups? I was there for the first time this past March meeting. Were you there??? I am located actually 30 minutes east of Pittsburgh. You? As for the surgery, I originally wanted sleeve and wasn't eligible because of a hiatal hernia. I am so grateful for the bypass! What is causing you to hesitate??

Yes, 28 does suck! I'm in Westmoreland County, just east of Pittsburgh.

I also used Dr. Felix at Hope Bariatrics and am very happy with him and all of his staff. I had my gastric bypass 6/8/17 at St Clair Hospital. I only wish I had done is sooner. No complications at all.

I'm about 30 minutes east of Pittsburgh, you?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
