Pittsburgh Area?

Is there anyone here from the Pittsburgh PA area? I don't know anyone, personally, whose had Gastric Bypass.

    Yep. I am from the Burgh. Had my surgery April 20, 2017. Lost 134 pounds and maintaining great so far. Dr Felix gave me the tools. Hope Bariatrics

    I also used Dr. Felix at Hope Bariatrics and am very happy with him and all of his staff. I had my gastric bypass 6/8/17 at St Clair Hospital. I only wish I had done is sooner. No complications at

I work in Pgh, but live up in Armstrong. Route 28 sucks!

I had my RNY on 1-29 at Butler Hospital by Dr. Daniel Gagne.

I am in Pittsburgh and thinking about gastric bypass with Dr. Courcoulis. I thought I wanted gastric sleeve but they seem to prefer bypass. I am three months in but still very unsure about this whole thing.

You're so sweet. Thank you! My plan is working. On the day of that video, I weighed 219. Today I weigh 210!! ?

Dr. Courcoulis was my surgeon, too! Are you going to the monthly support groups? I was there for the first time this past March meeting. Were you there??? I am located actually 30 minutes east of Pittsburgh. You? As for the surgery, I originally wanted sleeve and wasn't eligible because of a hiatal hernia. I am so grateful for the bypass! What is causing you to hesitate??

Yes, 28 does suck! I'm in Westmoreland County, just east of Pittsburgh.
