Got my sleeve done yesterday and the past two days have been so painful. I’m so nauseous I’m dry heaving, shaking, I’m in excruciating pain. Any advice?

1st thing is I hope you feel better soon and I'm sure you will eventually. Make sure you're taking your nausea and pain medications. Just try to relax and take it easy. Try putting a cool rag on your forehead. If it gets to bad, call your physician.

It gets better. Try to stay calm. Are you still in the hospital? You'll feel like a new person by the time you're discharged.

I'm 2 weeks post op. I was in a TON of pain as well. I read so much about people having hardly any pain so I was optimistic. I even read one person say it doesn't even feel like they had surgery. I literally yelled at my screen, "Well good for you!!". Lol. It just hits some people harder than others I guess. It will get better in a few days. I'm still in pain, but nothing like I was those 1st few days. I hope you feel better soon. Until then, don't try to be a hero. Stay up on your pain meds and don't push yourself. There are no awards for unnecessarily suffering!! I wish you the best.

Gosh Megg C I sure hope you are feeling and doing better. Hospitals can be nice when you're sick but they are never as nice as home, hope you're going home soon! But please keep us updated on how you're doing.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
