Can't believe I had my surgery just over a month ago. Your feelings are all understandable. I had the same myself. They told me I went into surgery with a smile and woke up with a smile. Told them it was because I was starting a new life!!

I will give you the same wish I wish for all lapband patients - may you feel restriction from day 1!! (And of course all that other stuff about a speedy, relatively pain-free recovery, yada yada yada!!) But let's face it - restriction is where it's at!

You are smart to be the first surgery of the day. I had mine at 7:30 too and they told me later that my surgery went faster than expected and they did not have the next person ready. I wish you smooth sailing, quick recovery and best wishes as you begin your new life. Hugs and best wishes -- you are going to be fine!!!!!

Good Luck Lauren, I had to be at the hospital at 5:30 am, but I was the first and then it was over....nothing to it! Enjoy the beginning of a new you.
