Effects of Nutrient Deficiency on Skin

I have the tretinoin cream, too. My doc said I don't have "that" type of acne so retinoids won't help. I only had the Retin A from a while back. He said Retin A is for like.. clogged pores/white heads and that kind of thing. I was using the Retin A in desperation before I went to the doctor.

Mine is superficial bacteria and sad, sad hormones. :( I don't get whiteheads though. Just cystic painful lumps or random tiny red dots. I am also now getting jawline acne, but that's from the surgery messing with my hormones apparently.

I understand, it still resurfaces the skin, promoting cell turnover very visibly so scars from acne fade fast

I'm lucky I don't have any scarring. I guess there are a few small pock marks on my forehead, but I have bangs (I've had them all 30 years of my life, so they aren't going anywhere ever) and I will always have forehead acne from hair oils so... whatevaaa. lol

Clindamycin gel works great for me too. Apparently our fat cells store estrogen (for women) and as we are melting the fat away, those hormones are re-firing, hence why we feel and look 13yrs old again with blazing acne. Argh!

I started the Aczone about a week ago and it is making all of my acne bleed! And I am popping up with more. I think the erythromycin was better, even though it didn't do a whole lot. I'm *supposed* to give it 6-8 weeks though...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
