The anticipation has got me ! I feel as prepared as I will ever be, at least with the immediate post op stuff. Want to get it over with and start losing! I am fantasizing about being back to my self, and about all I would like to do this summer. Maybe paddle boarding?

Oct 24th, here I come.

I only do clear liquid diet the day before,,,,,feeling very lucky.

Good vibes accepted.

Congrats and good luck! Be prepared to not be prepared. There are things that just can't be planned for, but if you plan to accept that some things can't be planned for, you'll be better prepared for those issues.

@beachladee3 congratulations you are almost there, I remember the anticipation that I experienced and I was so nervous and excited too...now I’m 7 weeks post-op. Like you I bought a variety of shakes from Vitamin shop because I didn’t know which ones I would like, I’m lactose intolerant so that worked for me, also picked up sf Jello, sf pudding and popsicles were my best friend...also the Vitamins that I picked up worked good for me.
I felt the same way as you prepared and it worked out, what I didn’t have my family brought it to me.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Keep us posted 🤗

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
