I have a tentative VGS surgery date of December 14th. Anyone else scheduled for December yet? Lots of questions to come, I’m sure, but also looking for people to go through this together.

Hello everyone! I’m new here. I Haven’t had my surgery date scheduled yet but I did my psych eval yesterday, ekg today, labs last week, need my nutrition counseling and see when I can schedule my surgery. I can’t believe I’m almost there

My surgery is the 11th! I'm with you. I've only told my husband, kids and mother. I'm super afraid of the negativity that I will have to face. I've talked with some of my friends about having this surgery in the past and they talked me out of it. Since then I've gained 10 lbs. That was just in February! I'm too nervous to approach them again. I'm doing this for me!! I don't think they understand how hard it is for someone who has weight issues. I don't know...I just hope I get the love and support I need from others if not from them! Good luck to both of you!!!

NERVOUS! EXCITED! NERVOUS! Starting my liquid diet on Tuesday the 4th and surgery is the 11th!
