Celebration time! Just got out of the 300's! Crazy! Started the process at 426, surgery at 400. Just weighed in at 296. (And by celebration I probably mean getting crazy and maybe hitting 1200 calories today) Hope all is going well with my fellow December Sleevers. Also, I've got a friend who is about to have the surgery in a couple of weeks so it has been great getting to pass on some info and help her.

I’m a Month shy of a Year and don’t even reach 700 cal a Day

Thanks everyone and btw, I average about 800 calories a day and burn an average of 400 at the gym not to mention whatever gets naturally burned just walking around and doing standard daily activities. Also, when I wemt out to eat the other night I didn't request a table like usual and sure enough my family was escorted to a booth, which has been a nightmare situation for me for the last several years, and I looked at it and thought there is no way I'm fitting in this but I'll go ahead and try to slide in. Low and behold I not only fit easily but I had about 3 or 4 inches to spare and could lean over and everything! This is all crazy!

Yes, that scale is evil for sure. I do take my measurements and have lost a lot in some areas and not so much in others. 4 pants sizes is incredible. Good for you. Are you buying new clothes yet? I haven't bought anything new because I have a whole closet full from the last time I was this size. I follow the Keto diet which was recommended from my surgeon but modified with more Protein. I do have some good recipes for that. But mind you Keto is high in fat so if you are doing a low fat diet it would probably not be for you.
Hi Louise! That freaking scale finally moved this weekend! I couldn't resist to step on it after a week n a half, -8lbs more goneI was like OKAAAAYIWILL take that. Keto, nahh I don't need more fats..I need to tone really badly so I said I was going to start lifting small dumbbells for my flabby duke Cheeks and arms. Now what am I supposed to do with this half flabby belly I DON'T KNOW LORDT A picture from a year pior to compare my progress. I'm tryinginCollage_20190326_164530719.jpeg

I'm so glad you got that scale to move!!!! I ended up losing 1.3 for the week so I'll take that. I saw my nutritionist on Friday and I think I may stop doing the keto diet and just focus on meat and vegetables and see if that change helps things at all. You are looking fantastic! Thanks for following up. Have a great week!

I could use a good 12 step program. “Hello my name is Kathleen, and I am a scale-oholic.” It is pathetic. I’m so obsessed. I have been at a “stall” for almost 3 weeks. It’s almost discouraging. I was so excited to hit the -40 at exactly 3 months. My dr said to expect 30-50, so I was happy! Then... Haven’t lost since. And I am just getting over some horrible bug that lasted for over 2days that caused me to not keep anything down or in. And still no weight loss.
Of course it’ll come. It’s just so dern frustrating! I’m smiling though. Still excited about -40 cus I’m thinner than I’ve been in over 33 years!!!

Hi, I’ve never written on here before, but I’m hoping to find some inspiration and motivation from everyone. I have been kinda stuck recently and haven’t been eating very well:/ I’m so disappointed in myself, but I’m using this to keep going. What are y’all’s diets like 4 months out and how do y’all suggest I do this? My doctor never gave me a certain calorie restriction or real meal plan, and I do feel hungry.

It's been 4 months and 5 days. Starting weight was 377 pounds. Today I was 264 pounds.

I eat 800 Cal or less a day and have been on a hardcore next to zero carb diet since 2 weeks before my surgery.

The restriction is real, can't eat much more than 2.5 ounces.

All is well. Hope you all are kicking butt!

So funny but true! I'm a scale-a-holic too! And . . . I've been in a stall for 3 weeks also. From what I'm reading in the forums for us December sleevers, it must be a natural stall point because I've read at least 4 or 5 of us stalling around Week 16.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
