Any shorties out there under 200lbs

I like to hear back from anyone on the petite size - how has your weight loss been with the sleeve? I'm 4'10 with a bmi of 37 and plan to get the sleeve this month.

  • I’m 5’1- my weight on the day of surgery was 256.6 lbs and my BMI was 48. It’s been almost 10 months since surgery, I’m down to 140.8 lbs and a BMI of 26.6. I went from a size 24 jeans to a 2.

My weight-loss has gone really well... but I am a stickler for following the rules. I have had some minor bumps so far, but altogether - very happy. :D

Do you mind sharing how much weight you lost?

That is a lot! Did you have the sleeve?
Yes I did Dec.26, 2017 yet my doctor is saying I should have lost more than that so I don’t know if I should just rest my pouch by just doing all liquids for the next couple of days

I’m not sure I haven’t had surgery yet. But I have heard of people doing a reset by following their prep diet for a week.

Surgery: 8/18/18 revision from band to sleeve. I started at 182.7 and am now at 166.5. It seems to be slower than most but better than I could do on my own so I am happy with my results. I will begin to exercise next week. I have been at a stall for a couple of weeks. Good luck!

@Tayrae yes I had the revision surgery on 7/24/18.

I thought a dude started this thread trying to pick up chics. Congrats to all you "shorties" on your success through.
