Hello,

I eat 3 meals a day and either 2 cups of milk or a half to a whole premier shake. Just depends if I feel like drinking milk or shake that day. It's been hard for me to get up to all my Protein. I'm actually 6 weeks out and finally getting into the groove now. If I am short I will eat a light string cheese which is 6 grams. Good luck to you too.

I'm 5 months out. I'm at the low end of the calorie scale. I have a lot of restriction, and not a lot of physical hunger.

I usually have shake in the morning, and 3 or so meals/snacks. As I said I have a lot of restriction, so a meal/snack is 1 oz of cheese or Jerky, 1/2 to1 cup of Soup, cucumbers with dip, laughing cow cheese w 34 degree crackers, coleslaw w light dressing, dehydrated cheese crackers, sandwich w 1/2 a slice of bread, 1 slice of turkey, mustard, ff mayo and lettuce, Protein Pasta w a 1/2 a turkey meatball and marinara sauce (2 oz by wt), greek yogurt, sf Jello w greek yogurt, slice of watermelon 1/3 a chicken or Mahi burger patty only (TJ's), quesadilla w a 1/2 a low carb tortilla, 1/2 oz cheese and salsa. So basically a shake, and mix and match from the other items I listed.

7 months out--I don't snack. I was told not to by my program and I think it actually helps. I don't want to be thinking about food that much :P

I eat either egg whites or have a Protein Shake for Breakfast. 2-3 oz deli meat and a slice of thin sargento cheese for lunch, or fish with vegetables, or a chicken dish... it varies, but always Protein focused. dinner is a variation of the same. Sometimes I do still miss my Water intake goal of 64oz, but that's a work in progress.

I'm 7 months out. I eat 1200 calories per day. I typically eat six little meals. Am almost to goal, will need to increase calories soon.

I'm not a Protein nut. I get 60g a day, but half come from healthy carbs and are plant based.

My diet is unrefined. Lot of fruit, veggies, whole grains, and very lean meat. Beans, peas, lentils, seeds. Homemade wheat bread and bowls of homemade veggie/bean Soup are favorites.

And once in a while, I eat junk. But never more than 75 calories per day worth. Nothing is off the table...so I don't feel deprived ever...I've just learned to make better choices about my junk consumption.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
