In what sense? Quantity, type of food, supplement, etc?

Oh, you'll get more input than you can imagine! Everyone's got a favorite ;)

When I need to get a lot of Protein in, I go for the Premier Protein shakes. They're quite sweet, but they add in beautifully to Decaf coffee, or chai tea. You can even stir them into oatmeal. (If you add to Hot Drinks, let the drink cool a bit first or the Protein Drink can curdle (YUK!) Some people thin them down so that they're not so sweet.

I drink Protein waters on the way to work in the morning. That knocks the first 20g off my to-do list every day. They are also sweeter than I'd like, so I dilute with about 50% Water.

Hope that helps!

I'm found of Muscle Milk Light for flavors but watch the calories (Actually watch the calories and sodium on all flavored proteins) Isopure has some good flavors as well, I'm using Isopure unflavored as an extra boost to things. I also take Gold Standard Casein at night to help with muscle production.

My surgeon doesn’t want me using Meal Replacement shakes because they contain added Vitamins, and with the vitamins I started post-op, it could cause an accidental overdose. If I’m having a hard time meeting my Protein goals, he will allow 4 oz. of Premiere Protein. I tried it, just to see, but it sat too heavy in my stomach.

I like to use Isopure ready-to-drink Liquid Protein. I’m partial to the Blue Raspberry flavor. One 20 oz. bottle contains 40g of protein. I also use the Unflavored Isopure 100% whey Protein Powder Isolate. Since it’s unflavored, it can be mixed into just about anything. Once scoop contains 25g of protein. As an added bonus, it has zero carbs and zero sugar.

I do a lot of food based Protein. I do have one protein smoothie every morning that gives me a good "head start" for the day, buy the rest comes from 100% food based.

I would research high protein foods and get an idea of what you like vs. what you don't like. Your taste buds could change after surgery, but it mostly has to do with things being overly sweet after surgery. I eat a lot of the following:

- eggs, all different ways
- Greek yogurt
- tuna packets
-jerky
-cottage cheese
-chick peas
- Brussels sprouts
-Fairllife Milk with Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup.< br /> -Almonds
-Meat, meat and meat. I don't discriminate with meat. I also eat soy meat 2-3 times per week. I find different ways to mix it up, as to not get bored.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
