Before and In Progress Pics?

Recommended Posts

Hi all.....

I am not having any luck inserting pix here. But, I do keep a log of Before pictures and During Pix on my blog......in the left hand margin (using Flicker). So, if you'd like to check it out....they are there......

Everyone is looking great! Hard to believe it's been 3 months!

No one else wants to share thier pics?

(If you haven't taken any yet, I recommend you do. It's the only way I have seen my loss so far. It really does help)

You are so right Candle. I knew that I was losing, but I almost started crying when I actually took the pictures and posted them. The mirror lies almost as much as the scale, but the camera really shows a big difference.

Thanks for bumping the thread Candle and Salsa. I agree with you both on how much it helps to compare old pictures with new ones. For me when I am having a day where I am feeling a little discouraged all I need to do to get me through is look to see just how far I have come from my pictures. I also love to see how others are doing and to Celebrate their victories.

I was so amazed by everyone's pics that I wanted to share mine too. I don't know if this will work though. But I've attached a before and current photo. I think there is a slight difference!

Melissa -- you're absolutely beautiful in BOTH shots, but I just know you FEEL divine in the 'after'. Kudos!!!

btw -- if you were 45 instead of 29, I wouldn't be able to like you for being insanely jealous of your tremendous progress!!

Oh Nana! Thank you for the compliments, but you are doing great as well! Think of it this way....there are 17 years between us and only about 16 lbs., so you are keeping up a great deal of progress!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water. Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
