Did anyone have to do lovenox injections?

They’re to prevent blood clots.

i have to do it twice/day for 14 days. I have been doing them since post op and it’s been going ok except I find that the thigh is harder to pierce than the tummy and stings for a bit afterwards.

just curious if anyone else had to give themselves injections

After two weeks the injections were a piece of cake lol. I am on my last dose today. It’ll be nice to take 1 thing out of my routine

I was so nervous about this I contacted my Surgeon's Nurse and I will have to do this too. I already have a needle phobia. Ugh, I'm more afraid of this than the rest. ?

It really wasn't bad. They're tiny little needles.

What a relief! Thanks! I was scared. ??

In the grand scheme of life, lovenox is just an annoying pimple!

I got pills instead but I did get an option and I skipped on the shot, 30 days of sticking is way too much for me.

Yo-Yo Girl from New York City :)

I didnt know that was an option! I'm adding it to my list of questions for my pre-op appt. ?
I had to do then once a day for 10 days

I have to do one a day for 4weeks and i hate it, my daughter sticks me.
