I should have asked to see my stomach. I watch my 600 lb life and see their stomach. Interesting

What stitch???? I have a stitch??

Yep most people do and if you happen to have it pull you WILL feel it. Much expert testimony on Bariatric Pal on the subject!?

So question for everyone

naseau

have you felt after eating

if so, how long

cause I don’t know if I’m naseaus from sleeve or withdrawal from lexapro

I'm one week post op now, and down a whopping 12 pound, i'm drinking enough and getting enough protein in, is this normal?

Yes thats Awesome! I lost a lot the first week too. 15lbs 8 days now down17 in 10 days.

Keep up the good work!

Most people lose between 10-15 in first 2 weeks is what i was told, but everyones different. Im happy we are on the larger loss side of that :)

I only get it when taking my evening meds on an empty stomach. Ask your doc for some Zofran, dissolves on the tongue and works in just a few minutes. Also - Lexapro withdrawal can be VERY dangerous, are you off of it cold turkey or did you taper down properly? I ended up in the ER years ago when a bad doc had me stop cold turkey.

You may not have a deep internal stitch. Probably half of bariatric surgeons perform surgery with this stitch. Apparently, it pulls things back into place. It is VERY tight. Mine causes a very deep indentation in my stomach. It's so, so painful. Painful to the touch. Painful to move. Its just flat out painful. It was getting better, but I did something to irritate it yesterday and I'm in such terrible pain today. My abdomen is swollen around that area and bruised.

My surgeon said it would dissolve or even "pop" sometime over the next 8 weeks and that once it did, there would be instant releif.

It sounds like you are one of the lucky ones who does not have the stitch! If you did, you'd know! Lol... I envy you so much right now!

How long did it take everyone for the super tight inner stitch to finally dissolve or pop?! My doc said it could happen anytime, but I'm miserable!!! I just want it to happen so bad so I can get some relief!! I'm so over being in pain! And I want to sleep on my side again dang it. Right now, it is way too painful.

What stitch is that? I don't have any that are particularly painful

Oh man that does sound awful, I don't have anything that sounds like that all, I hope you feel better soon!

Question..............

will i I feel naseaus if I don’t eat enough ???????????

Purple girl, that's certainly a possibility - as is not drinking enough, which also can cause nausea. Hydration is key, get your protein in, and get some calories in every 3-4h, even if not many.

Thank you

i think your right

the nutritionst said today to eat every 5 hrs, no more

so your on point

thanks!!
