June 6th too! Scared more about after ward & doing this right! I’m diabetic & have neuropathy in my feet so the way I look at this is I’d rather have 1/2 of my stomach removed & have a chance at really losing some weight that to wait, thinking I can diet without surgery on my own & end up having toes amputated!
I’m June 4th but, also diabetic and have neuropathy in my feet. I’m with you, I’m absolutely having thus gastric sleeve surgery to save my life!

June 4th is only two days away..yikes!! Good luck to everyone - I know there’s a bunch of us having the same date. “May the 4th be with you!” (Sorry I couldn’t resist)

May the Fourth be with you, too!!! I’m on all clear liquids tomorrow and now that I’m HOURS away from surgery the anxiety is kicking in. I’ll be so glad to be on the other side with all of you!

I’m so excited for tomorrow!! One more sleep and then I’ll be on the other side. Im nervous and having doubts/concerns, but thanks to this forum I know that’s normal. This group has been a font of knowledge and support. I’m looking forward to us continuing to support each other as we all walk (and maybe jog one day) to all of our goals.

I just went through surgery yesterday at 11am! Had a bit of nausea and the pain feels like a non stop stomach cramp. But the pain went away last night and now its 8:30am and I'm feeling much better. I got up to walk several times and took a body shower and just got done doing the swallow test so they are about to give me juice water and a popsicle.:P I do have a drain which will be removed tomorrow but I'm just so happy it's already done with! :D

Congrats Roxy1771! Glad to hear that your pain is already gone! I’m having mine on Weds and the next 3 nights will not go by fast enough for me!

1st of the June bunch to be done that I know of!! Congratssss
New here...my surgery is June 12th. I’m getting super nervous /excited. So one thing I’m worried about is that I haven’t been given any information on a pre op diet. I was basically told to just eat light a week prior to surgery. Hmmm, any advice

Don’t worry, you’ll get some good sleep during surgery! Good luck!

I’m on the other side!! Surgery went well. I’m feeling no nausea so that’s a huge plus. I’m still on pain meds so it’s all hugs & puppies for now.

im allowed to have ice chips so that’s helping with the thirst. So far so good

how are the other 4 June peeps feeling?

Today’s the day. Folks! I’m so incredibly nervous and literally can’t believe the time has come. Please pray for me and wish me well!!

Today is the day, folks!!! I wish my Surgery Twins & everyone else the best of luck. I am incredibly nervous (even a bit scared) about everything from pain management to failure all the changes that await me. My thoughts and head are everywhere! May the 4th be with you, all! ❤️
