I would love to make some surgery buddies now so we can go through all the pre-op requirements together and stick through surgery and beyond. Anyone else already know their surgery will occur this summer?

My surgery is going to fall in the July or August time frame. Most of this is dependent upon checking all my surgeon's boxes, the rest is dependent upon my financing since I'm self-pay. I'll be getting the sleeve.

I love my surgeon and feel really lucky to have found him. So far the pre-op stuff has gone smoothly, but I am just at the beginning stages. I've scheduled all my evals and classes and attended my first weight loss class last week. I found it to be mildly helpful. It was certainly geared more toward those that hadn't already read through the surgery binder and/or those that had no clue what healthy eating consisted of. I'm hoping future classes focus more on the post-op eating.

My first visit with my PCP about this surgery is next week as that's the soonest I could get in to see her. I'm hoping she'll be supportive as my surgeon knew of her when I told him that's who I see. But if I have to find another PCP so be it.

My first dietician appt is next week and psych eval is the week after that. I only have to get these three meetings out of the way to schedule my surgery. So I'm anxious to get that done!

I'm excited to hear from others along the same timeline as me!

You will!! Hang in there, it seems like it takes forever and then the next thing you know you are scheduled.

Can you see if it will let you add your date to the sheet? Not sure why it won't let some people since I have it set to edit for everyone. Just curious what your experience with it will be.

I tried to touch it to see if it would let me and it looks like it is an excel time document and wants me to download the “sheets” app...hope this Helps people. Maybe you need to have office before it will let you modify a document

You can edit your information on this sheet anytime. If I've missed you, you're new, or when you get your surgery date just go into the sheet and add your info!
I have also added a column for surgery type. If you want to share, you can go in and add the type of surgery you're having. I didn't fill this one in for anyone as I know some people don't want to share that info.

You shouldn't need to download anything or have anything installed as that's the benefit of it being on Google, it's an open document. Weird.

It allowed me to add my surgery type.

Now, if i only had a stinkin date to put in..lol

I have my last weigh in tomorrow and I’m done. This has been a long six months jumping thru hoops. I’m nervous and excited!! Hopefully, paperwork will be submitted soon after.

For those that can't edit, below is what I've found in the troubleshooting section. But if you still can't edit or just don't want to go through the steps below, I can edit anytime for you. Just make sure you tag me in the post with the info so I don't miss it!

You may have to be signed in to Google to edit the document. (Although I don't think this is true because I was able to edit when I signed out of my profile)

If you still can’t edit a file

• Make sure you're using a browser that works with Google Drive and Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Make sure your file isn't too large to be edited.
• Clear your cache and cookies.
• Turn off browser plugins or extensions in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari.

Compatible Browsers

Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms work with the 2 most recent versions of the following browsers (unless specified otherwise). Make sure cookies and JavaScript are turned on for your browser.

• Chrome
• Firefox
• Windows only: Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge

50 days till my last weigh in and 61 till my surgical consult to submit paperwork....lol (not anxious at all)
