  2. So thankful for this tool!! I’ve lost 210lbs!! My life is so different. This is a great idea to check in!!
  3. Thank you ladies! I've decided to do No Weigh May! I've been working out and walking consistently since last August. I really don't want to be so consumed with the number on the scale. I think that is something I really need to work thru. I feel like I haven't weighed in years and it's been four days. May could be a long month!!
  4. I have hit my longest stall so far. Six weeks, and I've really struggled this last week to stay on plan. Any suggestions to stay motivated and not lose my determination. This is such a battle of the mind. I just don't want to fall into my old habits that I've worked so hard to overcome.
  5. Hi Friends!! I have a few questions. I'm nine days post op. I'm slowly starting to feel normal. My program has you not drink five minutes before a meal and 30 minutes after. They would like me to take only two pills at a time. Should i also not drink after taking meds? If i get the six meals a day in (not even close yet!) That's 3 hours of not drinking. I'm concerned adout needing to do that with meds as well. Any thoughts? Thank you!! It's encouraging to see everyone doing well!!
  6. I can't believe it's here. I'm so excited!
  7. You are so kind!! I plan to be smiling as well. I'm feeling pretty good, a little nervous about the unknowns afterward but I'm ready!! ?
  8. You are doing great!!!
  9. Good for you!! That is great. I'm hoping to join you by the end of the year.
  10. Yes, thank you for asking! Today is the first day I haven't had one. I haven't had caffeine in a while, I just didn't expect headaches. I had my final surgeon's appointment today. I'm all set to go!! I feel like it's a dream.
  11. So happy for you!! I really like the way you think about clothing stores too.
  12. I'm on June 11 and day two of the liquid diet. I've had the worst headache today. I'm wondering if I need to stop my metformin.
  13. My hospital gives you one. They gave me one after hernia surgery as well. I thought it helped.
  14. I started today. Mcdonalds chicken nuggets never looked so good. ? I honestly don't feel too bad, but it's day one!
  15. This just makes me so sad. I'm so sorry. Personally, I would wait on the surgery. Being pregnant is difficult, I do understand that, but personally i can't imagine that this child doesn't have a purpose in life, even if you give the child up for adoption. I also hope you will reconsider the abortion. Praying for you!! Sending hugs your way. ??
  16. Good for you! Try to get some rest tonight. Easier said than done, I'm sure. I can't wait to join you. Prayers for you!!
  17. That's my day too! Do you start liquids on Friday? Congrats!!
  18. I have to start all liquids on Friday. I also have an EGD on Friday. It might be silly but i thought i would ease in to it by starting liquids today and having a regular meal for supper. I go tomorrow for pre op testing and a class that the hospital requires. It's almost surreal. I can't believe two weeks from today it will be finished. Let me know how it goes for you tomorrow.
  19. Are you starting a liquids diet this week? We can be surgery buddies! (If you want of course) ?
  20. Hi! I think I can relate to everything you are feeling. My surgery isn't until the 11th, but I feel like I can't shut my brain off already. Hang in there!!!! I believe the best is yet to come. ?
  21. I tried to edit to add what procedure I was having but I couldn’t ? Would you like me to try for you?
  22. Thank you for sharing!!! It's nice to hear your good news.
  23. It let me add myself but i wasn't sure how to sort it so my date would be in the right order.
  24. You will!! Hang in there, it seems like it takes forever and then the next thing you know you are scheduled.
