  6. I feel your pain. I’ve always had thinner Swedish type hair. I had hair loss. Noticeable. It has stopped and is regrowing. It’s about 2-3 inches regrown and I have a fuzzy hair halo. It’s not pretty but it’s coming back. I had my surgery 11/27/17.

  9. I should say my surgery was 11/27/17. But I have consistently been working out from 1 month post op (Crossfit, spin, boxing, Pilates) and I have been eating more than the recommended portions at each phase. So far it has worked for me up until these last 15lbs :)

  12. I’m eating way more than that (grain bowls, rice bowls, etc etc about 1/2 portion sized for a typical restaurant). I also exercise heavily and run 10 mile obstacle races. I even eat carbs for energy for races and workouts. The doctor confirmed that my diet is working for me. Right now my weight loss has slowed to a crawl so I’m thinking about adjusting to paleo or smaller portions to get these last 15lbs. 14. I never threw up and I never got the foamies. I get dumping syndrome sometimes which manifests as hot flashes and a stomach ache if I eat too much or have too much sugar.
  15. Congratulations! You look great!
  16. Thanks! It was a one rep max. :)

  19. My doctor said I couldn’t lift anything more than 10lbs for the first few weeks and to only hold things close to my chest. I had help with groceries and the like my first few weeks. I was cleared to go back to full on weight lifting (I’m a crossfitter) after 4 weeks. I hit a PR of a 280lb deadlift shortly after 4 weeks.
  20. I’m not sure if the larger stomach still produces stomach acid but my GERD was cured so if it does it doesn’t seem to be effecting me. I use the take care of vitamin subscription. https://takecareof.com/

  23. I had a gastric bypass and it cured my acid reflux. My poop smells better than before. What’s weird is it doesn’t really smell like poop. Perhaps it’s more like stomach acid? I use a vitamin subscription service and my levels are normal. I take my vitamins everyday and rarely miss a dose. For me it’s been the best decision of my life. I’m healthier and happier. I think it does make a difference that I researched my doctor and hospital and went with a center of excellence and a doctor with no serious complications and very few non serious complications. Good luck with your surgery! HW 227 SW 221 11/27/18 GW1 184 GW2 154 CW 154 GW3 135
  24. 45 years old. 227lbs to 153lbs currently. My arms are fine. My inner thigh skin is just a bit loose but not noticeable. My tummy on the other hand has loose skin. My goal weight is 135lbs and I’ll consider surgery to correct the skin when I get there. But totally worth it! I’m so much happier now. :)
  25. Being flushed/hot is a symptom of dumping syndrome. Drink slower and it should go away. I get flushed/hot if I eat or drink too fast or eat the wrong things.
