Day 3 of the week of liquid before surgery and I feel miserable! 😩
I just completed day 4. 4 more days of full liquids then 2 days of Clear Liquids. I’m so over it but I know that all of this is worth it. Just want the headaches and dizziness to go away 😩

Since I grew up in the midwest I believe in Indian Summer. And now in Colorado it's just damn hot in September. So yeah...September is still Summer!

Indian summer is a Midwest thing? I thought that was an everywhere thing because we acknowledge it here in Connecticut as well, lol

Not so much that it is a Midwest thing, just that it is not a Colorado thing because it's always hot here. lol

I am scheduled for a gastric sleeve on July 3 and still wondering if I’m making the right decision, but my knees are giving out so I need to act fast.

I’m on day 3 of my all Protein Shake diet. 11 more to go. Sigh!

Man, I feel for you guys that have to do the long post-op diets. As we've said several times, come here a complain and b***h and moan all you want when you're hangry. :)

Are you scheduled for the 26th or 27th?

Day four of pre op diet... Actually felt hunger pains. Tried to keep myself busy and away from food, but when you work in dieter's hell some days are more trying.

I finished up day 4 as well! The hardest thing is having to cook for someone else or just be around the food knowing you can’t nibble at it. I’m not even hungry, I just want to chew something so bad 😩 hang in there! We are almost there, and then we will have to force these shakes and liquids down

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
